Drawing Together Resources for weekly stay-at-home sessions, to bring us together while we are away.Before the stay-at-home order went into effect, we took photographs of several of our cast sculptures and still life objects which we stitched together into a few 360? videos. Now, for every day we should have gotten together for Open Figure or Open Studio…
… we’ll post a new video and image set of a subject we can all draw together. From each day’s subject, you’ll simply pick a view – just like you would when arriving in the studio, click on the high-resolution resource image below, and get drawing, painting, etc. Once you’ve created your piece, email it to the DC Coordinator Adam Mysock (mysock@manifestdrawingcenter.org)* so he can post it to our Facebook and Instagram accounts for the world to see. This collection of images will give us all the chance to compare, contrast, and discuss our various approaches to seeing the world, just like we do during our normal breaks in the studio. *You’ll have until 6am the morning after the video is posted to get your image(s) to Adam, and—of course—don’t forget to share your work on your own accounts!
