Using anatomical models, cast sculptures, and a live model, Resident Instructor Scott Ramming will guide students through the basics of…
• Building believable hand forms based on the structure of the arm and proportions of the overall body
• Observing and assembling features of the hand based on common proportional relationships and a natural range of movement
• Addressing gestural symbolism and expression conveyed by the hand
Scott will offer demonstrations, exercises, and individual feedback to help students improve their hand-drawing ability.
