collapse all | expand all

statement

Through my work, I seek an other-worldliness, removed from everyday life, traveling in the inner world of breath and pulse of living forms. A repetition of expanding and contracting forms that spiral and whirl teetering between the concrete and the ephemeral.

The process of making this art is one of contemplating the transitory. I explore the place between the known and unknown where the existence of living things are in flux.

Each drawing is a residue of the physical movements I make while engaging in the drawing process. This artwork asserts the touch of the human hand. From this hand, comes the sensual aspects of the work - something you want to touch or listen for.
