about the INDA 4

For the INDA 4 Manifest received over 1100 submissions from 411 artists in 43 states and 17 countries. The publication includes 100 works by 59 artists from 19 states and 8 countries including Australia, Canada, England, France, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United States. Three essays each by a different author have also been included.

Ten professional and academic advisors qualified in the fields of art, design, criticism, and art history juried the fourth International Drawing Annual. The process of selection was by anonymous blind jury, with each jury member assigning a quality rating for artistic merit to each work submitted. The entries receiving the highest average combined score are included in this publication.

This Online Supplemental Resource provides biographical info, artist statements, and details of sample works for each artist included in the publicaiton.
