statement

I paint afterimages. I think the art starts from person's curiosity. Being attracted by common matters and giving interests even in the slightest issue, an artist takes an attitude to feel things differently in daily life.
By seeing any marks or old graffiti arts on the street, grid on the floor, any of random patterns in the city or nature, like a dejavu, I enjoy associating them with more specific images. Surrounding elements from small to big from part to the whole give me a hint to remind of a portrait or gesture of a body or dreamlike animals. The works portrait my subconscious world because the images I remind are come from my memories piled up for long time. I've trained by so many random artists‚ works exist on and offline. All kinds of visual interests that I've wanted to experience are mixed up in my head and appear through the random patterns.
