| statement
My work grows from small discoveries I make in life. These discoveries, ranging from banal objects to human gestures, may be found after much searching or simply dictated by chance. I intuitively select certain imagery that often reflects an abstract idea. These images become subconscious connotations to larger more intensely personal subject matters in which I become captivated.
