statement

In this series, through digital manipulation of photographs, I attempt to convey movement through time and space, hoping to disrupt the stillness of the snapshot photo and create and image that spans a length of time. The subjects are isolated from background and surroundings, and they become vehicles for their motions caught somewhere between the folding and the unfolding, the covered and the uncovered. This allows the viewer to observe moments contained in the process of movement, rather than just the meditation or the result.
