statement

All of my work represents an attempt to capture not just the figures but the forces that give shape to the figures. Consequently, the subjects of my work often exist between states of motion and stillness.

The process by which I develop my works can be best understood as the struggle for dominance between the abstract and realistic.

Drawing is at the root of everything.
