statement

I am a Dallas based Intermedia artist working with various photographic media, which includes but is not limited to photography.

Whether manifested as photographs of interstate barrier scrapings, video loops of people hugging, audio files of stomach acid, punching bags filled with baby powder, or installations of zip lock bags cast in plaster, my work is sampled, derived, and distanced from pre-existing things, reconstituted as recorded reproductions.

"I'm not necessarily working with the thing itself, directly.  I'm  working with a version of the aftermath."

I received his Masters of Fine Arts degree with an Intermedia concentration from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2011.

I am represented by Marty Walker Gallery in Dallas, Texas.
